William Taylor, (1920 - 2010) attended the Royal College of Art 1939 - 1943. This painting was produced when the RCA was evacuated from London to Ambleside during the second world war. Subsequently, William taught art at Sheffield College of Art and Chesterfield School of Art. Widely exhibited, including the Royal Academy, New English Art Club, Leicester Galleries and the Redfern Gallery, London.
